Factions access key? - Guild Wars Forums

Just recieved factions from amazon, i understand that you can merge prophecies and factions together by adding the access key...where is the access key? is it on that card you get? do you have to install factions aswell to merge them?

The key should be within the Faction's box - it might be on the back of the CD covers or in a plastic protected section in the case.

You don't need to install faction's off the CD - if you have access to Faction's you eill download all files needed - although you'll have less downloading if you install from the CD's.

To merge a GW:P 7 GW:f account - start GW up but don't login. Under the login section is a link to "Create a new Account or Add Access Key" (or something similar). Click that and ensure to select the "ADD ACCESS KEY" section and input all relevant information.

in my edition (european) the access key is on the activation card which was stuck to a piece of paper with some intructions and who to contact if it went wrong, you had to scratch off the strip on the back to reveal the access key
